Day 1: Arrival at Satna

Arrival at Satna, check in hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Satna - Chitrakoot Dham (approx 90 kms/ 2.5 hrs)

Today after breakfast departure to Chitrakoot Dham (82 kms). Arrive at Chitrakoot Dham and visit :

• Ramghat, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Chitrakoot. The serene ghat lining the Mandakini River is where Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman appeared in front of the famous poet Tulsidas and he used to sit on the riverside and write Ram Charitra Manas.
• Kamadgiri, is a forested hill with the base surrounded by multiple Hindu temples on all sides and is considered to be the heart of Chitrakoot
• Sati Anusuya. The story of Anusuya says that she sprinkled some special water over the holy trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar and this led to their incarnations.It is said that Anusuya offered sincere dedication to praise the god to end famine and thus the town was blessed with the river Mandakini.
• Sphatik Shila, is a place with two massive rocks which are believed to have the footprints of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita.
• Janaki Kund, is situated along the banks of Mandakini river and it is believed that this is where goddess Sita used to bath during the period of exile.
• Hanuman Dhara, is a stream of water falling upon the deity of lord Hanuman releasing in a kund and there are langoors in this area which are well associated with Hanuman, the monkey God.
• Bharat,

In the evening return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Departure

After breakfast,  check out from the hotel and leave for local Sightseeing of Satna. It is part of the region of Bagelkhand, a large part of which was ruled by the state of Rewa. A small part of Satna was ruled by feudatory chiefs, holding their states under the British Raj. Satna's name comes from the Satna River (or Sutna) which originates at Sarang Ashram (Sutikshna Ashram), situated near Sarangpur village in the Panna district.
