Holiday Package
Day 1 : Ahmedabad – Gir (approx 319 kms/ 7 hrs)
Arrival to Ahmedabad, and proceed to visit Adalaj Stepwell. Later transfer to Sasan Gir. Check in to the hotel and relax. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Sasan Gir – Somnath (approx 57kms/1.5hrs)
After breakfast, visit to Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya. Afterwards,proceed to Somnath, check in to the hotel. After that visit to:
- Bhalka Tirth, is known as Mahaprabhuji's Bethak, and a Tulsi tree has been planted in Lord Krishna's honor. Inside the temple, there is a idol of Shri Krishna in a semi-reclining position. The temple also contains a beautiful tribhangi idol of Lord Krishna playing his flute.
- Triveni Sagam, three rivers Hiran, Kapila and the Saraswati meet here.
- Gita Mandir Chopati, is a temple dedicated to Lord Shree Krishna, the most notable part of the Gita Mandir is its eighteen marble pillars with 18 Adhyays of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta carved on them.
- Somnath Temple, is one of the 12 jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is the specimen of fine architecture too.
In the evening, treat yourself to the divine & mesmerizing sound and light show at the Somnath temple.
Back to Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Somnath – Dwarka (approx 237 kms/3.5hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to Dwarka, enroute visit:
- Kirti Mandir, is the memorial house kept in memory of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi
- Sudama Temple, is the only temple in India to be dedicated to the childhood friend and devotee of Lord Krishna, Sudama.
Later proceed to Dwarka.Check in to the hotel later in the evening visit to :
- Dwarkadheesh Temple. A Hindu temple dedicated to the god Krishna, who is worshiped here by the name Dwarkadhish.
- Gomti River Ghat, One can take a holy dip in Gomti river
After that we witness the evening Aarti. Return to the hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Dwarka
After breakfast, visit:
- Rukmini Temple, dedicated to Rukmini Devi, the wife of Lord Krishna and an avatar of Goddess Lakshmi.
- Samudra Narayan Temple, is dedicated to Goddess Gomti who is believed to have been brought from heaven by Rishi Vasishtha to sanctify Rama after his battle with Ravana
- Nageshwar Jyotirling, is one of the well-known Shiva shrines in the country. This temple symbolizes the confiscation of evil forces from earth. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, this temple abodes an interesting legend about its origin
- Bet Dwarka, is said to have been the residence of Lord Krishna during his ruling years at Dwarka
- Shivrajpur Beach, is one of the famous beaches in Gujarat
In the evening, we enjoy some free time for shopping. Back to the Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Dwarka – Ahmedabad
After breakfast, proceed to Ahmedabad, check in to the hotel and take rest.
In the evening, visit to Akshardham Temple, features the architectural skills of more than 900 artisans. Noted for its architectural charm, it illustrates Swaminarayan Sect’s deep-rooted influence in Gujarat’s culture. It is famous for its architectural grandeur, imposing exhibition halls and well maintained garden and in evening enjoy Light & Sound show.
Back to the Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Sightseeing around Ahmedabad
After Breakfast,visit:
- Rani Ki Vav at Patan, is one of the oldest and historical heritage of India. It is a grand stepwell on the banks of the Saraswati river in Gujarat, whose building is seven storeyed.
- Modhera Sun temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the solar deity Surya and is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavati.
Back to Ahmedabad. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, visit to:
- Sabarmati river front, is a waterfront being developed along the banks of Sabarmati river
- Sidi Sayed Mosque, is famous for its exquisite jali windows, spider web fine, depicting the intricate intertwining branches of the ‘tree of life’ that is best seen from the road that runs along the back of the mosque.
- Bhadra Fort, The fort had many temples, mosques palaces, and other structures. The fort was named so because of the presence of Bhadra Kali temple built during the reign of the Marathas.
- Jhulta Minar, also known as the Shaking Minarets, and are part of Sidi Bashir mosque These minarets are almost three stories high and due to its movement (shaking), they are called Shaking Minarets or Jhulta Minar.
In the evening, proceed for departure.
